 About the Event

Violence affects everyone, but the Deaf community often faces unique barriers when it comes to accessing support and resources. Communication gaps, lack of awareness, and cultural stigma can make it harder for Deaf survivors to get the help they need.

This session will explore how power and control show up in relationships within the Deaf community and highlight free resources that are available to provide support and safety.

Led in American Sign Language

The entire event will be presented in American Sign Language (ASL). If participants need spoken English interpretation or other accommodations, they can indicate that when registering for the event.
